Quiet Room door icon Quiet Room Account deletion

How to delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Quiet Room app.
  2. Tap the profile icon.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Confirm deletion in the dialog.

The in-app deletion flow is available for signed-in accounts. Guest or anonymous sessions do not show the signed-in account deletion control.

What account deletion deletes

When account deletion succeeds, Quiet Room deletes:

  • the signed-in account,
  • account data associated with that account,
  • conversation history saved under that account,
  • profile and memory records associated with that account,
  • profile history records associated with that account, and
  • AI-sharing consent state stored with that signed-in account.

After deletion succeeds, the app resets to a new anonymous session.

What may remain temporarily

  • Operational logs. Deployed operational logs are retained for up to 90 days and then expire automatically. They are not generally deleted individually during account deletion.
  • Device-local data. Temporary cache data, local consent cache, or audio playback files may remain on your device until app cleanup, operating-system cache eviction, uninstall, or manual app-data clearing.
  • Internal administrative configuration. In limited cases, internal rollout or configuration records may reference an account identifier separately from normal conversation storage.

If deletion fails

If the in-app deletion flow fails, please contact Quietroomapp@gmail.com with the email address associated with your Quiet Room account, which app you are using, and a short description of what happened.
